1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of cardiganbayai.co.uk. By using the farm checker you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
2. What the service does
CardiganBayAI provides a free farm opportunity checker. Based on the information you provide, it identifies grants, support schemes and other opportunities that may be relevant to your farm, and shows you where to find the official guidance for each one.
3. No guarantee of eligibility or funding
This is the most important thing to understand about the service:
- The checker gives an initial indication of potential relevance only.
- It does not confirm that you are eligible for anything.
- It does not guarantee that funding will be awarded.
- Final eligibility is determined solely by the relevant scheme administrator, applying the official scheme guidance in force at the time.
Where anything on this site conflicts with official scheme guidance, the official guidance always takes precedence.
4. Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, tax, agronomic or business advice. We are not a grant agent and we do not submit applications on your behalf. You should take your own professional advice before making decisions or committing expenditure.
5. Accuracy of scheme information
We take reasonable care to record scheme information accurately and we show a "last verified" date against each entry. However, funding schemes change frequently — windows open and close, budgets change, and rules are revised. Always confirm current details via the official source link before relying on anything you read here.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your farm — inaccurate answers produce meaningless results
- Use the service only for its intended purpose
- Not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the service
- Not submit anyone else's personal data without their knowledge
7. Availability
The service is provided free of charge and on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information provided by the checker, including missed deadlines, unsuccessful applications, or expenditure incurred. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. This section will be finalised during legal review.
9. Intellectual property
The CardiganBayAI name, branding and site content are ours. Scheme information is derived from publicly available official sources, which remain the property of their respective publishers.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the service develops. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
